Welcome to Fresh Skin Esthetics LLC! 

My name is Brooke Kern, I am a licensed esthetician and owner of Fresh Skin Esthetics LLC. 

My journey started back in 2022 when I decided to take the leap and go to esthetician school. I went to school in Jackson, MI at Atlas Academy of Cosmetology. I graduated school in January of 2023, took my state boards and took the jump of opening my own business. I got into an AWESOME space in Brooklyn, MI with my first day being February 27th 2023. I shared a room with a nail tech, Courtney Fausz owner of House of Fausz Nails. I started out part time on the week ends, seeing as many clients as I could. I now am working full time as an esthetician and could not be happier. We are now located at 130 S Main Street, Brooklyn MI. This building used to be the old Brooklyn Bakery, if you are familiar with Brooklyn it is the building downtown with all the amazing windows. Grazing Thyme is located inside this building with us as well! Here you can grab a snack and a coffee before or after your appointment! There is beautiful seating all along the windows as well to enjoy your coffee! 

Skincare and self care have always been one of my passions. I love seeing the results a product can do for the skin, and I love taking the time to myself every day to give my skin what it needs. I love making myself feel good, but helping others feel good is an even bigger passion. I love that I am able to provide services to help others to feel great. 

My main services I offer are: skincare services (peels, treatments, relaxing facials, skin consults), Waxing(facial, some body) Lash services(lash extensions, lash lift and tints), Brow services(brow lamination and tint, brow shaping, microblading and powder brows coming soon). 

Outside of esthetics, I love to continue my education on esthetics. Whether it be a skincare class or a brow shaping class I am all for learning new and different techniques to find what will work best for me and my clients!

I have two fur babies, one cat, Cleo and one dog, Bo. I spend a lot of time taking Bo on long walks, and hikes where he is able roam and explore new things. 

On my free time I enjoy cooking and baking new things, although I hate the cleaning that comes with it! I have taken up gardening the past few years, so from May to about September/October I am focused on keeping my veggie plants well and alive.
